Like all Macs, great! Very thin and beautiful screen
Pros
Looks amazing, works like a Mac, ultra slim and has a beautiful HUGE screen.
Cons
Battery lasts only about 4 hours, bottom gets VERY hot.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Great computer for graphics people. Too expensive just to use for surfing the Web. Works fast, looks great and is thin. You can't go wrong with a Mac.
I'm a Mac person. I work on PCs at work, but buy Macs. They last longer, look better, are easier to use and safer in my experience.
I bought this product to because I was feeling left out. It seems everyone has a laptop. Well, that and I needed to be able to work on graphics when I felt like it. So, now I can work from a coffee shop, home, etc.
The 17" PowerBook G4 is my first laptop. I bought the most expensive because I wanted to run large programs like PhotoShop, Illustrator, etc. It runs several programs with no problem. If I had just wanted to surf the internet and do more basic work I would have bought a less expensive Mac laptop.
However, this is a great computer that looks amazing. Just the screen alone is mesmerizing. In addition, it is fast, ultra slim and (of course) easy to use.
The cons are the battery doesn't last very long --- I usually can't use it more than 4 hours without plugging it in. It also gets VERY hot. That is the price you pay for having something SO thin.
I recommend the laptop but for serious graphics people. Buy one of the stands to let air underneath. I'm serious abut the heat!
