Apple Pro Mouse: Ahhhhh! The cord won't reach!
Pros
sleek.
Cons
over priced, knock-off of Microsoft verson, doesn't glide well.
Recommended it?
No
The Apple Pro Mouse, is semi-new type of mouse. It has no internal ball, for lint and dust to be caught on. That means that the cursor will never skip or jump. The Microsoft optical mouse is the same as the Apple Pro Mouse, except it was made first, and it has 5 buttons instead of the Apple?s one button.
It says that it works with both left and right handed people. I have found that that idea is so untrue! The cord is about a foot long, so if you have an iMac, and are left handed, trying to stretch the cord to your hand and still be able to see the screen, is impossible. If you?re right handed and have an iMac, it reaches pretty easily. If you?re left handed and have an iBook, since the ports are on the left, it reaches with ease, but if you?re right-handed with an iBook, it is impossible to have to cord go over the keys because the cord will not reach. If you bring the cord under the iBook to your hand, it reaches barely, but you have no room to maneuver.
The optical lens may look cool, but does it run smooth accost any surface without jumping, like The Microsoft mouse can? Heck no! At the computer store they had a Microsoft Optical Mouse set on the hardest and roughest berber carpet. The mouse glide effortlessly and the cursor never once jumps. You can move it on your hand and the cursor will still not jump. The Apple Pro Mouse can not even run on a smooth, lightly rough, couch cushion!
The Apple Pro Mouse is just a knock-off of the Microsoft Optical mouse. I highly recommend you do not purchase this mouse.
