Lightning fast computer, lighted keyboard, camera, magnetic power cord...it has EVERYTHING
Pros
Beautiful design. Elegant. Refined. Lighted keyboard and camera. Magnetic power cord.
Cons
Perhaps the fact that you cannot run WINDOWS well.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
It is simply the best windowsless laptop in the world. Buy Virtual PC and run windows. Stay away from Paralells. BEST MAC OUT THERE !!!
My first Apple computer was Apple II.
Years later, I bought the PowerPC.
I gave it a try and hated it.
I have always been a great WINDOWS fan. On August 24, 1995 at 12am I was in COMPUSA eating pizza and purchasing my copy of the just-released WINDOWS 95.
In 2004, I tried a POWERBOOK...I loved it.
Now, the MACBOOK PRO is another kind of animal.
Is like comparing a BMW 325Ci to an M3 simply no comparison.
The Macbook pro is really fast. Perhaps as fast as your fastest desktop PC's.
With camera, lighted keyboard, magnetic power cord, improved speakers is a machine that you are going to love.
I believe it is built from a slightly stronger material too.
The screen at 15.4" is large enough. I considered the 17" don't even thing about it because 15.4" is more than enough.
You might want to spend extra cash for 2GB RAM which I highly recommend....it's like $300 but it's worth it.
The screen is brighter than its predecessor and is FULLY COMPATIBLE with HD Mac Monitors running them in native resolution...what a breakthrough.
Don't even consider the macbook's.
Spend the extra money and get the real thing.
If you are a college student you can even get a free ipod nano...well almost free...you pay like $20 for a $200 product...so...yes....it's virtually free.
If you are considering purchasing a MACBOOK PRO. Don't think twice.
I would suggest you wait until LEOPARD comes out to install Windows.
Desktop Parallels does not work well and Bootcamp has its glitches.
After all, is just a beta.
I strongly suggest you to stay away from Windows until LEOPARD.
