Apple iMac Blue Dalmatian 15 in. (M8347LL/A) Mac Desktop

Some people may look at the new iMac and laugh. Others say it looks small and funny. But this computer is capable of running advanced programs very smoothly. The Computer comes with Apple DVD player, Adobe PageMaker, and 128mb of built in memory.
But the best feature of this computer is the iMovie program that comes with the computer.

If you have ever tried to edit movies on other computers you may have found that the Video loses quality, the sound gets out of sync, or the computer freeze because the system becomes overloaded. But with iMovie, making quality movies is easy. You just need a fire wire, a plug that connects from a firewire port on the iMac to the iLink port on your Digital Video Cameras. Once this link is established, you can control the functions of the camera by clicking on icons on the computer. Then you hid import and little blocks representing each scene( the program detects when the camera stops and starts recording. Then once you hit stop, there is a row of blocks with a still picture of the first frame of each scene. You can then clip off unwanted parts of each scene, add narration, or add your own soundtrack by simply sliding a audio CD into the the amazing slot loading CD-ROM drive. You my also want to be more artistic and add in some transitions. Changing the order of the scenes is as easy as clicking and dragging. You can also capture any frame as a still picture to send to friends over the internet. After your masterpiece has been completed you can add scrolling credits and titles.

Then you can export the edited movies back onto your camera via the firewire with 0% quality loss. Or if you have a website, the movies can easily be formatted as a quicktime movies and posted on the internet or sent to friends.

Besides this program which is the primary draw to this computer, it is a power house with a fast modem and 11 GB!! of storage space for iMovies. That is about 45 minutes worth.

Forget your stereotypes you may have against Macs. I was a PC user less then 3 months ago and I still am happy with my iMac DV Special Edition.
