Apple iMac G3 15 in. (M6709F/A) Mac Desktop

The iMac G3 is nearly ten years old, in computer terms that may as well be a thousand years! That's not to say you shouldn't buy an iMac G3 though ... there's a lot of history in that box and for the price it's a great item for any Apple enthusiast ... the iMac was what really got the ball rolling for Apple, it was the first computer designed by Jonathan Ive (who has gone on to design the current iMac's, iPod's and the iPhone) and was also the first introduced by Steve Jobs after his return to Apple in an attempt to streamline their bloated product line.

If you have an interest in Apple this is a great item to buy ... they often go for less than #25 on ebay and can still be used for web surfing and emailing (make sure it has OS X installed though!) ... other things to check are that the CD drive is still working and the ethernet port is still intact ... generally speaking they don't have wireless so you'll need that for internet access!
The only bad bit of design was the "puck" mouse which was an ergonomic nightmare! ... best to get one with the Apple Pro mouse which was very stylish and comfortable!
