I love the bright new colors on this very small IPOD Nano, my new one is purple. My biggest disappointment with this item came when I hooked it up to my charger and received an error message that the charger wasn't compatible with the new IPOD. I then tried it in my car hook up, error message again, not compatible.
We have 4 other IPODs that work and charge on our speakers, cars and charger accessories without a problem. It seems to me that Apple lowered the price on this unit, upped the memory and then decided to make up for the new lower price by making you buy all new accessories.
If you don't feel like spending another $30 on a brand new charger then I would stick with my old IPOD
