Although I don't have a review on the exact product -- MDP Personal MiniDisc Player, I thought readers would like to know about a similar product from Audiophase.
I purchased the Skip Free Slim CD Player w/MP3 playback model CDM450B) about three months ago and not only does it skip, but one of the buttons almost immediately got stuck within the unit, making it impossible to change to a new track.
Unfortunately, the 30-day return policy at Best Buy had expired and the manufacturer's warranty is only 90 days, meaning that I now have been gypped out of $31.67.
Any manufacturer that only has a 90-day warranty is in effect admitting that its product is of low quality. This company should clearly state the warranty period on the package, but it does not, since it knows the consumer would not want to purchase it. Either that, or Audiophase should call this product a "disposable CD player."
