Every breakfast nook should have a space saving, sanity calming, rush-through-the-morning escape built into it! In our home, we have four different people with four different tastes in entertainment. Myself, I enjoy morning talk shows, my husband the news, my oldest son wants to get in a little gaming before school and my youngest want to play with the dvds. UGH! HELP! It is crazy enough trying to have a morning routine without that routine including television fights! We normally have a 19 inch on the counter that takes up alot of space and energy, trying to clean around it and dealing with the dust and or getting it messy around the cooking area.

Meet my friend. Her name is Audio Vox and her number is VE926. And while you think a little 9 inch television has no power, this is the top of the line, mine-is-better-than-yours equipment. This under the cabinet, portable tv sounds great and looks beautiful. Even the small stature of this model, the colors are vivid and crisp, and you do not have to turn it up very loud to hear loud and clear. She has a built in dvd player that attaches and then drops down the flat screen, that also plays cds, CD-R MP3 burned files, and has a radio with near 180 channels. The stereo speakers are inside, and the screen is flat. The A/V input connector is cable ready, and you can hook it up to s satellite dish if you have one. It has an LCD screen with alarm clock so that you can keep speed on those busy mornings or hectic in-between obligation modes! It is really nice, even though you have to get used to it being there so that you do not bump into it with your head or your arm when reaching for something. It would be best to fit under a cupboard that faces the table, and has no empty counter space underneath it, or appliances that you use on a regular basis.

We invested in this after too many mornings of squabbles and fit throwing. We already have more than enough televisions in our home, but it seems like we always put our money where our mouth is when it comes to tvs. Maybe it is because it is available 24/7, or that we all have different time tables in our home that causes animosity over time slots. For example, I love watching Desperate Housewives, my husband despises it. Instead of being in a tug of war, I can just watch it in the kitchen while finishing up the dinner dishes. When Wife Swap and Super Nanny come on, and he wants to watch the game, he can snack in the kitchen while reading the paper at the same time. This is more than just a nice piece of electronic equipment. It gives freedom to watch as you please when no one else wants to watch what you are interested (or addicted to) in!!

This is a great buy for the luxury and ease of burdens that you have if your household is anything like me. This is portable, so if you want to take it into the bathroom while you are bathing like I do, it is simple to take down and carry it with you. It is very easy to install and un-install, and it extremely lightweight without tag along hardware. This is a great gift for college students who have to share a dorm, or a child who likes to have the tv to himself all of the time! It can take alot of getting used to looking at such a small screen after you are used to much larger, but you can get used to it after awhile, and the biggest blessing is, you have room on your counter again!
