Good MP3 player for the money

Pros Inexpensive, LOUD, EQ, search feature, plays where you left off, fast forward/rewind, displays song title.
Cons Display too inset, long names cut off, time feature, sound glitches (could be my fault).
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  If you want a MP3 deck and you don't have much money to spend this is the one you want.
I bought this car stereo from Fry's Electronics for only $59.99. For the price I can't believe how good the stereo is. Some cool features of this stereo include the ability to fast forward or rewind a song (just press and hold the seek buttons) the manual makes it sound like it doesn't do it, but it does. Also you can search for songs and I think folders by spelling out the names although I haven't needed to use it. It has a LOUD feature that boosts bass and treble, and a few preset EQ settings. The graphic EQ is actually only a power meter. This stereo is better than my wife's higher priced Aiwa mp3 deck which doesn't start playing the song where you stopped playing when you turned off the car, the ACD94 does to this which is a very nice feature if you make short trips and don't want to hear the same song over and over again. Taking the deck face off and on is very easy to do unlike the Aiwa deck. Things I wish were changed: from the height the deck is in my car I can't read the top half of the text that displays on the unit. Also it only displays about half of a long song name, you can't keep the current time displayed always (you press a button and it displays for 5 seconds), and every now and then you hear sound compression glitches that are hardly noticable (either that or I messed up making the mp3 files). The funny thing is, I had to pay almost as much in parts to install the stereo as the stereo itself. Good stereo for the money if you are looking for something that will do the job fairly well.
