Good phone

Pros Battery life, listen only speakerphone, data connectivity, light weight
Cons Not two way speakerphone, no alpha sort for phone book
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Good phone for both voice and data. One of the best until the GPRS and GSM services are more widespread.
The CDM9100 is a light weight tri-mode phone with good battery life and the ability to connect to the internet directly (via Verizons Mobile Net service) at 14400 bps. It will also connect to any ISP via the digital network. The roaming indicator works well with the Verizon America's Choice plan, with an obvious indication of when you are subject to roaming charges.

The voice clarity is excellent and the data connections are nearly error free.

The menus system is a little confusing and the phone book can't be easily alphabetized, but you specify which entry to store each number to. You can store 2 phone numbers with each entry, along with an email address. The phone is capable of sending text messages to another phone or to an email address.
