This phone is awesome. I replaced the CDM-4500 which I had for almost 6 months with this phone. Its smaller, lighter, LOUDER including a 1-way speakerphone. The main reason I got it was for the text messaging features. I tried many a phone to find the one I liked, CDM-130, Joy V-111, Quallcomm QCP-960 (I believe), and nothing works as well as this one. It gets reception where nothing else does, and I am yet to have a dropped call or a missed call. The menus aren't nearly as bad as people lead you to believe. The phone has changeable faceplates, a small whip antenna, better designed than the 4500. To top it all off, the ringer on this phone will take down a house, I can play the stereo as loud as I want in the car and still hear this baby ring! If you lay it on its face it even rings louder because the ringers in the back housing! Awesome phone!
