Everything you need, nothing you don't
I had the Audiovox CDM9000 with Verizon for the past year, but unfortunately it got soaked in water and died a terrible death :( I really loved that phone, but since I had the option to upgrade my phone at the promotional price and since water damage to my phone was not covered by the warranty, I... The Tri-Mode Wonder...Is here!
I recently received an AudioVox CDM-9100 and cell plan for my birthday. This is my first cell phone and plan. Although this is my first cell phone I have found it extremely easy to use. That which I haven't been able to figure out on the phone I can quickly find by looking in the manual. So far I... Read full review »
9100, 9150, and 9155GPX
Audiovox has done quite well with these 3 new phones. I had a chance to test the 9100 about a year ago before it was being released, I've only played with the 9150 (the 1xRTT version of the 9100), and I am now testing the 9155GPX (same as the 9150 with GPS in it for E-911 use).

COSMETICS
Although it's sleek, thin and capable of faceplate replacement, it still lacks the panache of other Verizon phones currently on the market. For cell owners who prefer a non-flip style phone, this is acceptably aesthetically pleasing. It's too bad, however, it doesn't have the...

Great inexpensive phone
The Audiovox 9100 wireless phone is a good way to keep in touch without emptying your wallet.
With a low $100 pricetag, the 9100 is a very attractive model handset for the beginner to get into, without spending a lot of money.
The handset may be a little large, but the readily...

Rural area phone?
I signed up with Verizon wireless and selected a Motorola V120 phone. After receiving the phone, I had one problem... the phone won't ring when it was called. I learned about weak digital reception areas. I returned the Motorola and selected the Audiovox. To date, I've not had problems with the... Read full review »
Good phone
The CDM9100 is a light weight tri-mode phone with good battery life and the ability to connect to the internet directly (via Verizons Mobile Net service) at 14400 bps. It will also connect to any ISP via the digital network. The roaming indicator works well with the Verizon America's Choice plan,... Read full review »
Audiovox CDM 9100 Trimode
This is a great phone for people out in the "boonies". If you live where signal is weak or digital is not available this phone will get a signal better than most. It will change over to digital on a dime. Has internet access in digital areas if you subscribe. It is slim and lightweight. If you are... Read full review »
There's Better Out There People!
I had this Audiovox phone for about 6 months before I went running back to the store with my piggy bank in hand trying to find a true quality phone. If you are a person that's looking for simply a "phone," this is it. When someone calls, it rings. When you dial, it calls. Other than that, the phone... Read full review »
Looking for a great phone? Look no further!!
This phone is awesome. I replaced the CDM-4500 which I had for almost 6 months with this phone. Its smaller, lighter, LOUDER including a 1-way speakerphone. The main reason I got it was for the text messaging features. I tried many a phone to find the one I liked, CDM-130, Joy V-111, Quallcomm... Read full review »
