Rural area phone?
Pros
Phone works in weak digital signal areas
Cons
Interface somewhat clumsy
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
It works where a Motorola V120 wouldn't. Better sound than the Motorola V120 too!
I signed up with Verizon wireless and selected a Motorola V120 phone. After receiving the phone, I had one problem... the phone won't ring when it was called. I learned about weak digital reception areas. I returned the Motorola and selected the Audiovox. To date, I've not had problems with the phone ringing and the sound quality is good.
Compared with the Motorola, the Audiovox interface seems somewhat clumsy. After I get used to the phone, I don't think it will be a problem. One nice feature is the ability to toggle the vibration mode on and off with the single push of a button. The phone also has a nice antenna, but I haven't found the need to use it.
