Terrible Audio

The picture quality and overall design is fine.

The audio on the DVD playback is terrible.

I bought this TV/DVD combo about seven months ago. This picture and overall design are fine. However, the audio when the unit is in DVD mode is terrible. The audio controls mysteriously only go up to 29. At the highest level, you can't hear average volume dialog. I have resorted to only playing DVDs with the open captioning so I can hear what is being said. I would not recommend this TV.
