We got this big one free by signing up for a 1 year contract with AirTouch.
Things we hated about it:
* It was big & bulky & ugly
* It was expensive ($99 according to AirTouch compared with $50 for digital PCS phones)
* It was slow to charge (about 8 - 10 hours)
* It was quick to discharge (had to recharge it every night
compared to once a week with a Nokia)
* No resale value (we have no takers @ $40)

* It was the only phone available FREE with a 1 year contract at the time
