Audiovox VE640 6.4 in. Portable TV

I bought this in January. After 5 months two channels don't receive signal. Customer service explained repair charge will be about 40 percent of purchase price. Ouch! I missed the fact that is only has a 90 day warranty. I think that reflects on the quality of the product. This has a lot of features and a big screen for an under cabinet model. The sound and picture quality do not live up to the price. It felt cheap when I took it out of the box. I should have sent it back right then or before 30 days were up. But the installation was tough enough and I was going to stick it out for a while and live with the limitations of the product. Turn the volume up to hear it over an appliance and the sound is poor. Screen image is touchy. Once you get it adjusted when you breathe you move out of alignment and the picture is bad. I wanted an off the counter TV so the family room TV did not have to be turned up so loud. I should have bought a portable DVD player with a cable TV jack. Then I could have had double duty out of the item. That would be my recommendation pick something else and save the under cabinet spot for a can opener.
