Pros Radio is easy to use, cheap, and gets the job done.
Cons Buttons are tiny. Don't hold down too long or it resets.
Recommended it? Yes

First, the radio. We bought this very inexpensively when it was on sale at Walmart for only $35. There have been no problems with it whatsoever. If you want recording ability, then it isn't for you, of course. The buttons are a little small on both the receiver and the remote. Also, if you hold... Read full review »

Pros Least expensive satellite radio receiver. SureConnect is brilliant.
Cons Ugly docking base. Too many wires.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought this Audiovox XMCK10 Satellite Radio Receiver with car kit from Costco (http://www.costco.com) for my 2000 mile journey from Connecticut to Colorado. Originally, my only expectation out of this device was to spare me from all the jibber jabber of country radio and "Hail to Jesus" campaigns... Read full review »

Pros It opens the world of Sirius XM radio to you no matter where you are.
Cons It only worked once for me.
Recommended it? No

I got one use out of this product.

Driving around the country for work all summer in rental cars, I fell in love with XM Radio.  No matter what rural area I was driving through, I had good music and news at my fingertips.  And no matter what city I was driving through, I had the same... Read full review »

Pros Great options, cheap and easy to use!
Cons Car hookup is a pain and it doesn't come with a home kit
Recommended it? Yes

I got this for Christmas. It does not come with a home kit. You have to purchase it seperately. I got my home kit for 40.00. Xm makes a universal kit. I have not hooked this up in my car yet.

I called XM to set up service before I hooked it up. It costs me 14.97 for 3 months of service. I... Read full review »

Introduction

I am a former Sirius satellite radio subscriber who spent a lot of money on equipment only to be very disappointed that they played the same songs over and over and over again. With that said, I liked the general concept - so this spring I decided to try XM.

Pros Size
Cons Weak electronics.

I have had problems with this receiver beginning just a couple months after purchase. It has required rebooting (power disconnect) after every channel change. Soon it began resetting to channel one after every engine start. Unit seems very cheaply made. Read full review »

Pros Lots of features. Easy to use. Lots of options for the $$$
Cons "SURE-CONNECT" instead of Wireless FM transmitter is inconvienient to set up.
Recommended it? Yes

Well....not a bad radio. I had the XM Raody2Pro until it gave up the ghost and I opted for this Audiovox unit. The one feature I really like the most is the WIDE band of frequencies for the FM tuner. My Roady only had 20 or so I think. The stock/sports tickers are nice are nice for keeping up with... Read full review »
