BIC America DV52SIB Main / Stereo Speaker

I must say, I've got the previous generation of these speakers, the V-52, which seem to be the exact same speaker accept the grille isn't rounded at the bottom. But judging from the pictures on their website and the specs, they seem to have the exact same design and components.
I got these guys through Craigslist. When I got them, I expected them to sound good. But when I hooked them up for the first time, I was amazed at how clear and crisp these sounded. I would not hesitate to call them Hi-Fi. My stereo only puts out 80watts per channel but that is more than enough to hear their clarity. Even when I turned the system up to nearly max volume, I heard zero distortion to the bass and mids, the highs weren't too loud or cause any fatigue, and they still retained amazingly high fidelity. The woofers put out sound down to 55Hz, which I guess is pretty good for 5-1/4" woofers. At any volume, my drum'n'bass music still had a clear and audible bassline. However, I could BARELY hear the bassline in the song Bass, I Love You by Basstronics(which is a song meant just for testing out woofers with an extremely low bassline). They really are great performers at any volume and will greatly satisfy any listener. It's fun to make my friends guess how much they cost.
