The Bottom Line:
You pay for what you get, works wel as a lil desk, kitchen, bathroom ect.Must use coax/cable line or better yet w/ the box,but not needed.
I purchased it for a lil extra port tv . I use it on my desk at home next to my computer, I used their coax "cable" line with no cable box so the is a lil specky but if I use my dig cable box as the input its clear w/ no probs. I had 2 dead pixels so n biggie most cheapo/generic lcd tv's aren't perfect, as anyone knows you pay what you get for.The other review is a lil harsh & a lil anal about a 69$ tv. Yes if you want to use it for a uhf/vhf no cable & use the supplied single antenna it doesn't work on hardly any channels,I tried a amp. rabbit ears tuned knob type external antenna from radio shack & it clears up & works on a couple vhf-l channels. Also the sound is clear & not tinny I've owned it for a year now & use it a few hours a day it is to the right of my puter lcd monitor so its good enough when you use cable(coax) with the supplied adapter, or like I did found the same adapter but gold plated & a inline cable line filter & made a even better picture. the onsreen programming is easy & remote works just fine. This is a honest assessment of this 8"lcd tv & no sour grapes here.
