I use the B&L binoculars for birding, astronomy, and keeping an eye on our sheep flock. For birding around the neighborhood and woods, the binoculars are handy, returning crisp, clear images. If you want to see raptors high up in the atmosphere, get a spotting scope.
For astronomy, the binos provide a stunningly clear and sharp image of stars without any spikes, edge loss, or color change. I use them along with my telescope for a wide range of observation needs.
For other terrestrial use, I keep an eye on my sheep flock, especially when ewes wander off to the far end of the pasture during lambing season. I can see all I need to see from the comfort of my window.
