Beltronics BEL 980 Radar Detector

In a recent 120 mile trip, I can upon eight state troopers scattered about. The Bel 980 was superb in alerting me as I came up on them. The features of this unit are great. It has 7 driver selectable/programmable features that allow you to set it the way you want. The buttons are easy to access, and the display is very easy to see and read. One of the nice features is the brightness selection. You can set it on "bright" or "dim" for daytime driving, and dark for night. The dark setting shows only a tiny letter in the display to let you know if you're on the highway or city setting. This way, at night, no one can see it on your dash. This unit can be mounted on the dash, on the visor, or on the windshield with included suction cups. Comes with two cords, one coiled and one straight.

Anyone who drives should have this unit in their vehicle.
