Beltronics Vector 940 Radar Detector

This radar detector exceeded all expectations. The sensitivity is outstanding while filtering out false alerts. On a recent trip this detector saved me on two separate occasions. On a long straightaway in the valley it detected a highway patrolman along the side of the road long before you could see him. The other was entering a small town where the speed limit dropped suddenly to 25 mph. If you do a lot of driving you can not go wrong with this detector. It has many of the features detectors have at twice the price! I looked at quite a few radar detectors and did massive research on the net. This one definitely does all that it claims it will. I have sold two of my friends on this same model. The ease of operation is unbelievable. Plug it in and turn it on...the detector takes over from there. It works so well at filtering out false alerts you forget you have it on. I found myself checking to see if it was on. But every time a patrolman was close it would sound an alert informing me of the type of radar being utilized.
