Sexy speakers at a fair price

You'll feel a certain excitement as you unpack these speakers-- it initially seems impossible that these flat panels are capable of producing sound. Setting up the speakers is a snap; the satellites come with pedestals, so they can sit on your desk (as pictured) and mounting brackets, so you can mount the speakers on the wall, desk uprights, or whatever. Plug the satellites into the subwoofer, plug the subwoofer into the computer, and you'll be listening to some of the most intriguing new technology to hit computer audio.
The BW2000s take up virtually no desk space and produce enough sound to fill the room, producing, as promised, 360-degree audio. These speakers sound the same no matter what angle they face, which can be a real plus if you have them mounted in unusual locations.
These speakers are a must have for anyone lucky enough to have a flat-panel display on their desktop. When visitors see my Toshiba Equium 100 flanked by the BW2000 satellites, they can't help but remark that my uncluttered desktop seems to be a few years ahead of its time.
There are only a few complaints about this set:
1> Weak Bass. The Bass put out by this set isn't terrible, but speakers in this price range (from Cambridge SoundWorks and others) produce a fuller sound.
2> If you don't have volume controls on your keyboard (as I do) the volume adjustment knob on the subwoofer (usually housed under the desk) is a pain to reach.
3> These speakers are a bit more delicate than traditional speakers-- a hard or sharp impact to the face of one of the satellites is enough to drive it out of commission.
My experience with Benwin Technical support leaves me with a good impression of this company and its products.
