Cons Dims when music is loud, and buttons can be difficult to press.

Pros very good fm reception and sound wired remote proper knob (first out in a while)
Cons often washed out display unintuitive rocker switches

When I got the Alaska as a Christmas present, I was intrigued by the "digiceiver" moniker. Digital was all the rage, and the possibility of getting digital sound over the airwaves was a little ray of hope. Now with XM and Sirius, anyone can do this for about $50.

I got this at Fry's Electronics (Southern California) at the same time I got my Polk DX3065 components. I paid $50 for it because they're an older model now.
