Good power for price
Pros
Great powerful sound
Cons
Bad ergonomics
Recommended it?
Yes
Even though I don't have any other after-market stereo products this head unit gives out enough power to make it feel like I have the amp, speakers, etc. Strong sound, good crisp listening quality and very cheap for what you are getting.
This unit gives out 168 watts spread over 4 channels. Regular listening sounds much more full and clear because of this and with the added X-Bass option you can jam with the best of them. X-Bass might be too much for certain types of music, though, especially if you don't have beefy speakers. It's nice to know that you have the option, though!
Like I mentioned before this head unit gives strong high quality sound but does not need any accompanying equipment in order to project the effect of spending thousands of dollars. Obviously, serious car stereo enthusiasts would want to invest more money to make the sound that much better but the immediate results are strong enough for me to put off the extra equipment purchase for now and to just enjoy this cost-effective new way to listen to my music.
The only drawbacks are the tiny, hard to push buttons and the fact that you have to drop the face to add or remove cd's. Other than those few drawbacks, I recommend this product with full confidence.
