Cool deck, no issues
Pros
Feature rich, MP3 capable! Good tuner, easy to use.
Cons
Some features are dumb and useless but who cares? Don't use them.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
I would buy another if I needed one. Been a good unit with no problems.
I've had this unit for quite a while and I was hesitant to buy it at first because of the lack of reviews and information. I'm glad I went ahead and bought it.
I've hardly ever had a problem reading a disk. Only really scratched disk will even start to give me a problem. I love the MP3 feature and once I learned to store the items in folders before I wrote the disk I love it even more. You can use the folders buttons to quickly move from album to album (folder to folder). I was worried that it was too bright at night like I've read but seems fine in my Bonneville. I've had it hooked up from the line out and from the speaker output and both sound fine. Tuner seems to work good, above average.
I don't see the use in the Mega-Bass buttons unless you are going to listen very quietly and need lots of bass. It distorts quickly. Some of the settings that you can change are gimicy and useless. The buttons aren't the best and I can feel the change in the way they respond but no problems as of yet. I've had it for 2 years and no major issues.
Very good for the money. Lots of features, bells and whistles. With MP3 I infrequently change disks which is nice. At least 10 hours at a time, nice!
