We just recently got the Bose Acoustic Wave Radio at our house. I think it's better than any other radio I've ever heard.
First of all, if you shut the lights out, pop a movie in, and connect the VCR to your radio, you feel like you're really at the movies. It's very simple, and it's worth the price you pay.
With this radio, you don't have to be weighted down like with boom boxes when you carry it from room to room. It weighs only 15 pounds and has to convenient handles (one on each side) to make it even easier for you. The remote could fit in your wallet, and even better, has a satisfying click when you push any button.
You can only play CDs DIRECTLY on your Bose, but if you've got a tape you want to listen to, simply put it in your player, plug the wiring (which is very easy and comes free with your radio) into both components, push a button on your radio, and there you have it. The tapes sound just as good as the CDs and the AM/FM.
You can also buy additional parts for your radio, such as a microphone, carrying case, and power stand, which will play your radio at a picnic or barbecue without batteries.
The Bose Wave Radio is extremely easy to operate, and you would not regret buying it.
