The Bottom Line:
If you are thinking about buying a new stereo for your car, I would recommend for you to go with another stereo.
I bought this stereo on Ebay about four months ago. I paid 60 dollars plus 15 for shipping. After I installed it I got to admit it is a lot better than the old factory stereo (I installed it in a '92 For Taurus SHO). I was happy because I had a good deal, I had seen the same stereo for 249 plus tax in a local audio shop.
The thing that I hate about the stereo is that it skips when I'm driving, I don't even have to pass a bump. In my way to work the road is under construction, so there I just can listen to the radio, even though the road is not that bad.
The stereo looks nice in the car. It has a motorized detachable face, so that gives you protection against theft. It has a remote control that is very helpful, specially when driving a stick shift car like mine. It has a subwoofer output, that makes easier when hooking up an amp. And also has cd changer control which I never used, so I don't know how it works
Overall I think the stereo is not that bad. If it didn't just skip that would be a lot better, I would not recommend it.
