Boston Acoustics speakers are known by everyone as an elite group of speakers and known far around for their great sound quality. Not many venture into purchasing these speakers because of their prices, but the sound quality you will get is well worth it
The Pro Series 6.53 includes a high-end tweeter, a 6" woofer, 4" midrange speaker along with mounting kits, grilles, crossovers and other useful tools that will help you in your adventure of installing these speakers.
Durability
One thing that makes these speakers so durable are the rigid die-cast aluminum baskets that surround the speakers. They act as a heat sink for the speakers when they get warm and at the same time increase power handling. They also keep the critical speaker components in perfect alignment. Rough roads can mess other speakers up because of potholes jarring parts lose, not a problem with these speakers.
Quality
These speakers are rather highly priced for a reason. These speakers are the highest quality speakers out there for it's type of full-range sound. These speakers have extremely low distortion rates, if any in most situations and have a frequency range of 50 Hz - 22KHz. The quality is so great, you'll hear little twangs and sound effects of instruments that you've never heard before, however the technology in the tweeter is the really incredible part.
The tweeters contain the element Neodymium. For all of you who don't know this element acts as a magnet but can contain the same power as a regular magnet at 1/10th the size and weight! This allows the tweeters to be mounted almost anywhere and anyway you would like it inside your vehicle.
Another thing that surprised me is the power handling of this system. It can take up to 500 watts!! So for maximum performance and sound quality I suggest at least sending 200 watts to these speakers so you can get all you can out of your purchase.
