I bought this machine in 2005 when I began to work from home. Now, 4 and a half years later, the Brother MFC 7420 continues to perform superbly! I am very happy that I went with a laser printer instead of the traditional ink jet. This machine prints quickly and in the over 4 years that I have owned the machine, I have had very little paper jam issues (mainly due to my fault). I have scanned, copied and faxed with this machine - all without issue. The manual that comes with the machine is great and very explanatory. It even comes with a quick set up manual that I often use when I want to change the function of the machine. I love my brother so much that I recommended to my dad that he buy one for himself as well (he also works from home). He did and he is also very happy with his machine. When I was engaged and my fiance and I were planning our wedding, we printed envelopes on the machine and 4x8 hard stock cards with a map of the area we were marrying in and everything came out perfectly. This is a fantastic purchase!
