Fast, Fresh, Hot coffee!!
Cons
none
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Bunn is the best! Fast fresh coffee everytime.
My sister in law gave us a Bunn coffee maker for Christmas last year and boy have we been pleasantly surprised!! This coffee maker is the fastest and easiest one we have ever owned. And the coffee tastes terrific!!
This coffee maker, is somewhat different than the standard coffee maker in the way, that is only makes 8 cups of coffee, whereas others, will make 12 cups. But that doesn't matter, and here is why.
Speed!!!!!
My speedy Bunn coffee machine makes my coffee, perfect and steaming hot, in under 2 minutes. I get my grounds ready at night before bed, and when we get up all we do is pour in the water and the coffee is ready in (my husband has timed this) one minute and thirty seconds!! It's unbelievable! Before I even have my eyes completely open, my coffee is done, hot and tasty.
How is this possible?
I want to say all here but I'm not POSITIVE, so I'm going to say this...Most Bunn coffee makers, are made with a reserve tank in the back. When you pour water into the top, that water is going into the reserve tank, to heat up for the next time you want coffee. Which means, the water that is coming out, while, you are pouring your water in...is the water you poured in LAST time you made coffee. Get it?
The trick is, the tank in the back, is keeping the water hot all the time. Aha, you say!
My trial and error!
My whole family has never owned anything but Bunns...so you would think that I would already know how to operate them right? Wrong. :o)
Just remember this as you read along...there is a reason for the plastic container that they give you along with the coffee pot. Ok? Got that?
I'm used to the standard coffee pots, where you fill up the pot itself and pour it into the coffee maker and then put the pot on the heating plate. So..that is what I did with my Bunn, the first time! I will spare you all the details, but, I will tell you, it will overflow if you do this ok? So, use the plastic container....its measured just right...keep the pot on the heating plate while you are pouring your water or you will have one heck of a mess!!
Bunn also has a website where you can order replacement parts at a very low price which is another reason why I endorse this product so highly. It is truly wonderful. I wish I would have had one a lot sooner!!
I definitely recommend this coffee maker to anyone who is on the go, or just likes to drink a lot of coffee and doesn't want to wait for it!!
The price is kind of high, I've heard around $100, but I'm not positive because mine was a gift, but it's definitely worth it!!
