Do They Make A Better Coffee Maker THan This?
Pros
Great tasting coffee, brews fast, never bitter
Cons
More expensive alot of other brands
Recommended it?
Yes
I received this coffee maker for Christmas almost 4 years ago. I have to say this machine was worth every dime my Dad spent on it. It has proven to be the best coffee makers I've ever had. Every other one that I have had lasted about 2 years maximum. And you know how after time the coffee gets bitter no matter how you good you clean the machine and pot, I have never brewed a bitter pot from my Bunn.
Another great feature is it holds a reserve tank of water. The reserve tank is always preheated, so when you you are ready to brew a pot you just pour the water in and that new water becomes the reserve. Therefore this cuts brewing time in half because the water is already hot, and starts to brew immediately after you start to pour.
I'll never go back to a Proctor/Silex again. Yes they are much cheaper, but you get what you pay for. The Bunn BB Series runs about $100. I've seen it in many stores for that price. But if you love great tasting coffee that brews twice as fast as any other maker, this is the one for you.
