Work Horse binoculars

The Bottom Line:  Get them, use the, You will love them
I have owned the same pair of Bushnell Legend 10x42 roof prism binoculars for five years. I have enjoyed them so much that when my brother-in-law asked me a year ago what kind of binoculars he should get, I told him the Bushnell Legends. While hunting the first year with his new binoculars, his neck strap came off with out him knowing it. It snow several inches that day preventing him from finding them. To make a long story short, two more storms and three weeks later he found the binoculars in perfect working condition. This assured me that the Bushnell Legend binoculars are great all weather hunting optics.

Clarity

The Bushnell Legends have excellent clarity for their class of binoculars. Their fully multi-coated optics and long eye relief allow maximum light transmission and makes spending hours glassing hillsides easier on your eyes. I greatly enjoy the extra twenty minutes of light at dusk and dawn (the optimum animal movement time) made possible by the quality lenses.

Durability

As illustrated in the story above, the heavy duty 100% waterproof and fog proof construction is second to none. The rugged hunting conditions of the west require such dependability. Their rain guard and water repellent lens coating are very helpful during the rainy seasons.

User Friendly

The Bushnell Legends have a large center focus knob for easy adjustments even with bulky winter gloves.

Style

The construction of the Bushnell Legends is molded to fit comfortably in your hands and is textured with a non-slip rubber armoring. They also have a non-glare finish to help you remain unseen by wildlife.

Cost
Most hunters can afford to make this investment of a price slightly over $300. I have not seen another product that can compare at this price.
If you are looking for a performance work horse pair of binoculars, the Bushnell Legends are the way to go. Mine are 5 years old with much wear and tear and are still going strong.
