Bushnell Powerviews...small size, great quality !
Pros
small size, great feel and quality, image clarity perfect
Cons
I hate the lens caps !
Recommended it?
Yes
These small, easy to cary binoculars came with a small pouch which attaches to my belt. They are therefore quite handy for hiking, air shows, sports events, live theater, and anywhere you might want a better view quickly.
Though not hugely powerful, 8X21 is perfect for those activity types. There are coated with a rubbery-ish "armor" and feel like, with care, they should last a lifetime. I received them as a gift, and they are the type of gift which reminds you of the thoughtfulness of the giver each time they are used.
What I don't particularly care for are the lens caps, which are separate pieces for each lens, and prone to getting knocked out of the lenses as the binocs are being pulled from their case. So, I'm always having to bend over to pick them up, cause they always fall out! I don't really guess I NEED them, as the binocs are either on my face, or in their case! Nevertheless, some unified, tehtered caps would be better.
All in all, great binoculars. Leave the lens caps home, and enjoy the show!
