Good beginners Scope
Pros
Easy to use and set up. Clear view even with a bit of light pollution.
Cons
Spotter scope leaves a lot to be desired. Accessory tray isn't very useful.
Recommended it?
Yes
I found the scope easy to use even if there were a few things I plan on upgrading. Mead eye pieces make a bit of a difference but I do believe the spotter scope leaves a lot to be desired. Other than that this scope delivers on most of the things I wanted a scope for. I was able to clearly see Saturn and some of its rings and I can pick out and track most of the brighter stars and clusters I am looking for. This scope gathers light as well as I had hoped for. I haven't tried to push the limits of magnification on it yet but up to a 12 MM eye piece it is very clear. I do not regret buying the scope and I would recommend it to a friend for a first scope.
