Not bad but not good

Cheap
Cons
batt life, long lag, slow, no resume, poor audio quality

No
The Bottom Line:
You get what you pay for. Nothing more, nothing less. Spend $10 more and get a name brand player.
Not bad for the price. It does exactly what is says it will. But thats it. Play back is ok but it has a really hard time with VBR Mp3s and play back order came be a bit scrambled at times. Songs A B and C will sometimes play in different order the next time you hit play. Player takes a while to read disc and build some kind of song index. Also takes a few seconds to begin playing after you press play, skip, search, etc. No resume play function. Any program play or any memory function is lost when you power off. Pressing stop also turns off the power after a couple of seconds, so the player thinks you just changed discs every time it stops playing. Sound quality is ok as long as batteries are good. The last hour or so of battery life is filled with random sound glitches and very poor audio quality, very distorted. The line out plug would be good if it worked and the volume keeps reseting to 19 on power up (32 is max, 19). Battery life is also really bad. Two 1600mAh NI-MH Batteries lasted about 4 hours. The low batt indicator gives about 30 mins of warning, on rechargeables it's more like 10 seconds.
