The Cambridge Soundworks Speakers are some of the best speakers for the price on the market.
I bought these speakers 6 months ago after owning just a simple 2-speaker setup and the difference was amazing. I only paid $79.00 dollars for the whole setup that includes
4 speakers
1 bass box
Speaker Cables

The speakers are so small that you would expect the sound to be standard at best, but once you hook them up and setup the bass box the sound you get is phenomenal. Setup itself is very easy and the booklet it comes with will have even the first time computer users listening to high quality sound in no time.
This kit includes 4 speakers that are placed in 4 separate places around your desk. Once plugged in it gives you the feeling of surround sound. Game players in particular will notice some stunning improvements.
Just playing MP3s is enough to make your walls and desk "thump" because of the bass. The rich clear sound is just amazing. Another great feature is the volume control right on the speaker cable. This allows you to adjust the volume without having to use the volume control in windows.
One instance is if you play first person shooters and someone tries to sneak up to you from behind you and to your left then the back left speaker is the one that makes the noise. Consequently if you hear noise coming from the top right speaker and you walk to the top right in the game you will find what is making the noise.
If you are not into playing games or listening to music than this system may be a bit of a waste just to hear the "ping" sounds that windows makes.
