Pros Capabilities, durability, auto focus tracking is the best
Cons Heavy, but quit whining.
Recommended it? Yes

I bought the EOS-1V when my previous SLR died from over use. Plus, I needed to step up to a better grade of body and the 1V came highly recommended.
