Canon EOS 3 Best of the Best

Pros Rugged, reliable, full featured.
Cons Not as weather proof as I would like.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  If you are looking for excellent features, ease of use, and quality this is the Canon for you.  Best for Advanced Beginners and UP.
How do you write a review about one of the Best Cameras out there?

If you are ready to move up to multiple features this is the camera for you.

Awesome manual features, easy automatic features, multiple exposure, rugged, fast, and more than I can tell you about in a short time.

Set it on automatic and you have the fanciest point and shoot you have every used.

I have used Canon my whole career and would never change.

Some of the most useful features for me are:

My favorite control - AI Servo - Press the shutter button and it will fire as fast as it can for as long as you hold the button down.  Great for every type of shooting.  Once you get use to it you can shoot single shot or as fast as it will go.

Eye control Focus - By just moving my eye the camera automatically focuses on the point I am looking at.  Espically great when you are looking thru the lens and see something - you just look and do not have to press the focus button over and over to focus on different points in the view finder.

Multiple exposure - I have used this many times espically at night putting a full moon into a photo where I want it.  There are more instances but very useful and just press a button to choose how many exposures you want.

Depth of Field - Using this alows you to focus on the farthest distance closest distance and it will automatically pick your aperature and F stop for you.

Preview button - Used in manual mode will let you see, pretty much, what your photo will look like.

Thru the viewfinder - You see your shutter speed, aperature, in focus and on the side is  an exposure bar.  Turning the wheel on the back changes your exposure automatically.

The only difference between the EOS 3 and the EOS 1V  are the EOS 1 is more weather proof, eye relief from the view finder.

Little know fact is that back in around 2001 Canon put a new faster chip in it.  Faster than the EOS 1.

EOS 3 has been discontinued by Canon.
