Handy, with some limitations
The Canon EOS A2 is a good reliable camera. It does have a few minor flaws which does not necessarily discredit the camera as a viable product worthy of purchase. In fact I will continue to use it as a second backup camera.

I bought the A2e (actually the EOS 5) from B&H photo about a year ago, to enter the realm of autofocus and EF lenses. EOS 5 (UK) A worthwhile used buy
I ran one of these machines for 7 years and have to say it almost converted me to Canon SLR's for ever.

I bought mine brand new and never had any reliability problems with it at all, but then I always took great care of it. I've heard some horror storys about burst backs...
