The Bottom Line:
wonderful for college students, high school students and teachers.
For me a good printer is very important. As my wife and I looked around, we wanted a cheap reliable printer. As we looked around, we found one that was cheap. Whether it was reliable was a different story. After we bought it, and with some faith, we found out that, this printer is reliable. The Canon Pixma MP1 190 all-in-one printer is a printer that I have found is easy to use and has accomplished many of my paper printing needs, such as printing out finished English papers, to awesome pictures for all to enjoy. We bought this printer mainly for school papers. Some of the things that I like most about this printer are:
1. I love how it prints the pages out very fast. I have used slow printers before and I just do not have the patience to wait an eternity for a single page to be printed.
2. I love the picture quality.
3. For me I love the scanner. I have used it various times. It has saved me money and time. In addition, it scans at a wonderful resolution and speed. Moreover, Speed my friends is an important quality for a scanner.
4. Just recently, I had to change the ink cartridge. At first, I was confused at where to go and how to change it. However, after I found out that you have to lift the scanner up it just takes a few seconds, some popping and pushing and inserting and the new cartridge is in place and ready to go.
5. I like how they have different quantities of inks that you can buy from 30 black to 40 black (the 30 is less than 40 on amount of ink that you get).
6. I love how you can set the programming to print on high-resolution paper, envelopes, photo paper, photo stickers, and so much more.
7. Since it comes with an usb cable, all you need is to hook it up to your usb port and wham. Your printer does come with software but it is simple to download onto your computer.
8. I like that it come with black and color ink right when you buy it. That is nice especially if you are low and money and all you can buy is the printer.
9. The keys on the face of the printer are easy to read and one thing that I really like is that when the ink is running low it blinks and on your computer screen, it says ink is low.
10. The color printer feature is amazing. It prints nice and crisp and does it in a fast manner.
11. I love how the program for the printer works with just about any operating system in the market. Like windows or machintosh.
However, I just do not like something’s about this printer. For example:
1. I do not like how big and bulky this printer is. I mean for me it is not that heavy, but for an older individual it would be hard moving this printer to another place. It is awkward and just takes up space.
2. I do not like how if you have to much paper in the page holding deck, that the paper gets stuck once you’re printing.
3. When something is wrong, instead of just telling you what is wrong it gives you numbers, which requires you to go look in the operating manual to find out what is going on.
