Impressive and Easy to use
Pros
Easy to use, beautiful color pictures, definitely worth the $149, overall satisfaction: !!!!
Cons
Batteries run out after every 200 pics or so (rechargeables may last longer), no case
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
I would highly recommend this camera to anyone looking for an easy-to-use, high quality camera because it was a great investment for me.
The last camera I had was a Kodak Advantix, which I really liked. When it came time to replace it, I really didn't know what to look for.
This Canon is unbelievably easy to use, and it takes the most amazing pictures with true-life color. I use it for school activities, family gatherings, and just random photo opportunities.
There are a lot of functions that it is capable of, but I really only use a couple and still get the best picture quality. It's super easy to use but I still suggest looking through the manual just to familiarize yourself with the buttons, icons, and general capabilities even if you don't end up using them.
I have recommended this camera to my parents and friends because I like it that much. My parents are in their 60s and they find my camera easy to use.
The camera take 2 AA batteries which seem to go out after every 150-200 pics, but I have read that rechargeables will last longer. Also, I would suggest you buy a small, hard camera case to protect it because it does not come with one.
