Knock-about digital camera with a lot of features
Introduction
I have a wonderful Canon Rebel SLR digital camera (not the most recent, with under 10 megapixels) and it is a workhorse. But what about when you want to slip a camera into your pocket, and you don't want to take the SLR along for whatever reason?

Great point and shoot
My husband is a photographer and we usually use our DSLR (A nikon) but when it comes to point and shoots and having a small camera with to capture the kids at their cute/ silly/ fun moments the canon powershot a490 is where it's at.
