I bought this camera as a replacement for the Canon sd1100 and I love this camera. It takes great pictures, there are lots of different options for different picture taking scenarios. There isn't the slow shutter with this camera like there is with other digital cameras. The battery last a long time and it is rechargeable, which saves $$ on batteries. I have been able to get some great quality pictures out of this camera. I tried different digital cameras as a replacement before I settled on this one, and none of them compare.
