LCD screen is fragile and not warranted
Purchased for XMAS present to a 17 year old girl.
In January, LCD screen showed a diagonal line across it.
You could capture images, but not download them
Canon does not warrant the LCD screen.
There is no optical viewfinder.

You get what you pay for....
Nice camera, nothing compares to its quality. I've owned this camera for about a 1 month and I've only had to charge the lithium battery once over the Christmas and New Year Holidays. I definitely recommend The Canon SD30, like they say "You get what you pay for".
