I've been a fan and owner of several Olympus Camedia digital cameras over the past couple of years, but my 35mm SLR camera of choice is the Canon EOS Rebel II. Since I've been extremely happy with both, but always wondered what type of digital performance Canon was able to generate, I decided to... Read full review »

The new Canon Powershot G2 is the digital camera I had hoped for when its predecessor the Canon Powershot G1 was introduced a bit more than a year ago. Here?s what I had to say about the Canon Powershot G1 (review 2/01) ?Where does the G1 fail to measure up? Disappointingly, in a large number of... Read full review »

I am a die hard advocate of film photography, but as of late have started to explore what the realm of digital photography has to offer. Because of my work in photo/electronic sales I do get to play with all of the new toys as they come out so I had been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the G2. My... Read full review »

When I first decided to get a good camera late last year, I read lots of Epinions reviews. There were a lot of features that I wanted in my camera, and it seemed like the Canon Powershot series seemed to have it all. The Epinions on the G1 were not all positive, but it seemed like everyone liked... Read full review »

While I could never be called a camera buff, new technologies fascinate me. I guess we are pretty typical in that we've always had one camera or another to record our families memories. I had seen various digital cameras at family reunions, weddings and other gatherings from time to time. Whenever... Read full review »

I have been using the Canon G1 for about a year before I upgraded to the G2. Make no mistake about it - the G1 is a fantastic camera. I didn't think the guys at Canon would introduce a successor to the G1 barely one year after the introduction of the G1, but they did and boy was I excited to... Read full review »
