The Canon XH-A1 is an excellent choice. I bought as a new videographer and have enjoyed it ever since. It has worked without fail and provided great footage for all of my needs.
It is suprisingly light weight and easy to handle. The camera is easily run, with a little bit of camera knowledge. If you are getting into film and want a reliable camera then I highly suggest this camera.
