Well I got my turn now, I've read a lot of bad review about the canon ZR line performing bad in low light, zooming noise. I have the Canon ZR 700 and have nothing to complain. Its small, nice looking, the lcd screen is very sharp, all in one joystick control. The first test I did, was on my son's birthday, we turn off the light when my son blowed the candels and use the camcorder light and the image is excellent. I guess what happen with this product is that people expect too much because of what they see in the advertisement.
