Nice, small, inexpensive but no analog to digital pass through
A coworker asked me to look at their new ZR850 purchased this week. The ZR850 is currently the top of the ZR line.

Worth it
My fiancee and I bought his camera recently and we really love it. We were looking for something small and inexpensive that still took good video. After searching through various reviews we decided on the ZR850.

Great ease of use, but poor image quality. I returned it.
I bought the Canon ZR850 for my husband and myself as our first camcorder. I figured we needed a beginner's camcorder to help us learn to use one. It was very good for that, as it was easy to use. I figured out the basic controls within about an hour.
