The Bottom Line:
I highly recommend this great phones - especially for guys or those who like a cell phone to feel like a real phone.
I wanted a cellphone that was large enough to feel comfortable in my hand, was easy to use, and easy to hear. This phone fits that bill and brings with it toughness (you can drop it...repeatedly), water resistance (should you ever need to call from under water or in the shower), and great compatibility with Verizon's v-cast online features (should you decide to pony-up a little more monthly fee for them). It's a great phone, has been very reliable, is easy to hear, and easy to use. It has a good camera, and good movie camera (though I never use that). It has a flashlight and lots of other extras built in. It has lasted me my entire 2-year contract, and I would just keep on using it.
Battery life leaves a little bit to be desired. I had to go back to Verizon, who gladly replaced my battery for nothing (it lasted a day at most out-of-the-box). The newer battery lasted 2 days at most. I decided that was about the best it was going to get. I have heard that many other phones (and electronic devices in generally for that matter) experience rather short battery life these days.
